Design Tips for the Best DTF Prints

Design Tips for the Best DTF Prints

1. File Format & Resolution

Use PNG with a transparent background
300 DPI resolution for the sharpest print quality
✔ Avoid pixelated or blurry images—what you see is what you get

2. Color Optimization

🎨 Use CMYK colors, as RGB may not print accurately
🎨 For bright whites, avoid transparent or faded white areas

3. Avoid Thin Lines & Small Text

🛑 Minimum text size: 12 pt font
🛑 Avoid extremely thin lines—they may not print well

4. Bleed & Borders

Avoid placing important design elements too close to the edges
✂ If your design has a background color, extend it slightly beyond the edges to prevent gaps
