Artwork expectations

  • Upload individual designs (not a finished DIY gang-sheet layout)
  • PNG with transparent background preferred
  • High-resolution artwork; 300 DPI recommended
  • Crop tightly when needed so empty space doesn't shrink your design

Artwork cleanup (separate from layout)

Layout arrangement is included in We Build.
If the actual artwork file needs cleanup or preparation, artwork adjustment fees generally range from $5–$15 depending on the work required.

Turnaround (standard DTF, Eastern Time)

  • Weekday same-day printing cutoff: 5 PM ET
  • Weekday same-day shipping cutoff: 3 PM ET
  • Saturday same-day printing cutoff: 1:30 PM ET
  • Sunday: closed

Artwork requirements
  • Usable gang-sheet artwork width: 22.5 inches.
  • Preferred file: PNG with transparent background at final print size.
  • 300 DPI recommended. Flatten artwork and remove hidden layers.
  • Also accepted: PDF, AI, SVG for vector files.
  • Completed layouts are printed as submitted — review spacing and orientation before checkout.

Pressing guidance

Standard Legends DTF transfer settings:

  • 270°F
  • 8 Seconds
  • Hot or Cold Peel
  • 5-Second Repress

Press at 270°F for 8 seconds using firm, consistent pressure. Hot or cold peel, then repress for 5 seconds with parchment paper.

Compatible fabrics commonly include cotton, polyester, blends, spandex, and canvas. Specialty transfers (such as glitter or glow) may use different settings — check the product page. See the FAQ for full care guidance.
